NEXUS VALLEYS SWIMMING CLUB (FORMERLY
NEATH VALLEY SWIMMING CLUB)
Welcome to the Nexus Valleys
Swimming Club.
Nexus Valleys Swimming club is a Swim Wales
(formerly WASA) affiliated
competitive club
situated between the Neath and Aberdare Valley areas.
The club has been competitive for nearly four
years and operates on a part time basis.
Our main base is the Vale of Neath Leisure
Centre in Glynneath.
We currently swim out of three swimming pools:
Neath, Vale of Neath in Glynneath and
we also use the Aberdare swimming pool.
Lanes are structured to suit all abilities
eligible to swim in club sessions having met the criteria
of 50 metres competently (front and back
recognised strokes).
Assessments for new swimmers are carried out at
the Vale of Neath Leisure Centre
in the assessment lane on Fridays at 6pm.
Please be aware that on starting with the club
you have 4 weeks, by which time you must pay club
and Swim Wales (WASA) membership fees to ensure that you are
covered to swim and take part in future club activities.
THE FEE IS £45 per
swimmer. Forms will be available for you to complete, just ask
Andy Jenkins.
All forms must be completed in black ink and MUST
be accompanied with payment - cash or cheque.
Cheques payable to NVSC please.
A starter kit is available on request.
